Authenticated arbitrary file read via unrestricted Url path
Published Jul 7, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Absolute path traversal in QSAN Storage Manager 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary system files. FileDownload treats its Url parameter as an unrestricted path, allowing resolution outside the intended download area. A valid low-privilege account is required, and successful exploitation discloses file contents without altering them.
