Emulator execution manipulation via crafted SDD arguments

Argument injection in SICK SOPAS ET before 4.8.0 allows context-dependent attackers to alter emulator execution through a crafted SDD manifest. The application reads emulator command-line arguments from the SDD manifest and passes attacker-controlled values to the selected executable without constraining them. Exploitation requires a user to import the SDD and start its emulator; targeting an arbitrary host executable additionally requires CVE-2021-32498.
