CVE-2021-32455

Service interruption via HTTP connection exhaustion

Published May 17, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Uncontrolled resource consumption in SITEL CAP/PRX firmware 5.2.01 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via HTTP request floods. The embedded web server fails to close numerous HTTP connections, exhausting its available resources until it enters denial of service. An attacker must reach the device network and send massive requests; the documented consequence is service interruption rather than data disclosure or code execution.
