CVE-2021-32305Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized search term

Published May 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

OS command injection in WebSVN before 2.6.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands through a crafted search query. The getListSearch function inserts the search term into the svn list --search command without shell-safe quoting, so metacharacters reach the command interpreter. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests run commands with the WebSVN service account's privileges.
