CVE-2021-32088Network attack vector

Unauthenticated brute-force protection bypass via cookie removal

Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026

Rate-limit bypass in Quest KACE Systems Management Appliance 11.0.273 allows remote attackers to brute-force API credentials. The affected API endpoints rely on the client-supplied kboxid cookie for throttling and fail to enforce the request limit when that cookie is omitted. The bypass is remotely reachable without prior authentication and removes the intended limit on repeated credential guesses.
