Unauthenticated database disclosure via identifier SQL injection
Published May 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Hexagon G!nius Auskunftsportal before 5.0.0.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted HTTP request. The GiPWorkflow/Service/DownloadPublicFile endpoint fails to neutralize the attacker-controlled id parameter before using it in an SQL query. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented impact is database confidentiality rather than data modification or service interruption.
