Authenticated server-memory overwrite via array-subscripting overflow

An integer overflow in PostgreSQL array subscripting allows remote authenticated users to overwrite server memory through SQL array assignment. The array code fails to reject a lower bound plus length that exceeds the integer range, so later assignment calculations address bytes outside the intended array. An authenticated database account able to modify a crafted array is required; resulting memory corruption can alter data or crash the server in affected release lines.
