CVE-2021-32004Network attack vector

Browser cache poisoning via unchecked Host header

Published Nov 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper Host header validation in Secomea GateManager before 9.6 allows remote attackers to poison browser caches through web requests. The web server accepts HTTP Host values that do not match a configured interface, GTA hostname, or explicitly valid hostname. No authentication is required; a crafted request can place attacker-selected routing context into a browser cache, affecting content integrity without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
