CVE-2021-32003

Credential interception via lingering configuration service port

Published Aug 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Credential exposure in Secomea SiteManager before 9.5 allows attackers on the local network to capture provisioning credentials after reboot. After an already provisioned appliance reboots, its configuration-service port remains open for 10 minutes and transports credentials without protection. Exposure requires use of the provisioning service during that window; published records establish credential capture but not broader compromise.
