Privilege escalation via unsigned SAML value consumption

SAML signature validation in Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric allows remote authenticated users to impersonate higher-privilege users. The federated identity handler validates signed fields in a SAML response but then consumes attacker-injected unsigned values, including a substituted username. Exploitation requires lower-privilege application access and a deployment using SAML with a third-party identity provider; successful abuse grants the victim account's privileges.
