User-assisted arbitrary code execution
Published Jun 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Remote code execution in Microsoft 3D Viewer before 7.2105.4012.0 allows attackers to execute code after user interaction. Microsoft has not published the affected component, input format, or unsafe operation that causes code execution. A local, unauthenticated attack still requires a user to open or otherwise process attacker-controlled content, and successful exploitation runs code in the application context.
