Script execution via unsanitized distribution-list common name
Published Apr 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in the OX App Suite frontend 7.10.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script through a crafted distribution list. The scheduling view inserts a distribution-list member’s attacker-controlled common name into the rendered overview without neutralizing script-capable HTML. Exploitation requires the victim to import or receive the malicious list and add it to the calendar scheduling view, enabling session hijacking or unwanted web-interface actions.
