Credential disclosure via browser extension cleartext retrieval
Published Jun 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Credential disclosure in Zoho ManageEngine Password Manager Pro 9.7.0 through 11.1 build 11103 allows remote attackers to retrieve stored passwords. The browser-extension path returns masked passwords for non-website resource types as cleartext, but the vendor does not identify the faulty function or validation error. Reachability requires use of the browser extension and a stored non-website resource credential; the documented consequence is disclosure of that credential.
