Local privilege escalation via compromised-folder DLL loading

DLL search-order hijacking in McAfee Drive Encryption before 7.3.0 HF2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges. An affected executable searches a compromised folder before trusted locations and loads an attacker-placed DLL, but McAfee has not identified the executable or DLL. Local access and control of the folder are required; successful exploitation runs the planted code with elevated privileges.
