Authenticated internal-resource access via unrestricted analyzed URLs
Published Apr 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in Yoast SEO for TYPO3 7.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to make server-originated HTTP requests. URL analysis fails to restrict analyzed URLs to domains managed by the current TYPO3 website and requests arbitrary external or internal domains. A logged-in TYPO3 backend account is required; the server can consequently reach resources that are otherwise inaccessible to that account.
