Reflected XSS via unencoded frontend data parameters
Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in 10Web Photo Gallery through 1.5.68 allows remote attackers to run script in a visitor's browser via crafted requests. The bwg_frontend_data handler returns album_gallery_id_0, bwg_album_search_0, or type_0 input in page output without safe encoding. Exploitation requires a visitor to open the crafted request, after which the script can read or alter content available to that visitor in the site origin.
