Administrative call initiation via unchecked click2dial requests
Published Apr 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Sipwise C5 NGCP www_csc 3.6.4 on NGCP CE mr3.8.13 and earlier allows attackers to initiate calls. The /call/click2dial endpoint accepts a state-changing POST request with a destination value without verifying that the request originated from the authenticated interface. A logged-in user must visit an attacker-controlled site, which submits the request under that user's administrative privileges and initiates a call.
