Unauthenticated script execution via td_block_id output
Published Jul 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in tagDiv Newspaper 10.3.9.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via td_block_id. The td_ajax_block API fails to neutralize attacker-controlled td_block_id content received through admin-ajax.php before placing it in generated output. No authentication is required, but a user must load the resulting content; executed script can read or modify browser-accessible data within the site's origin.
