Policy script modification via server access-check bypass
Published Jul 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Access-control bypass in Stormshield SES Evolution before 2.1.0 allows attackers to modify security policy scripts via a malicious program. A program run on a computer with the administration console can replace a script that handles detected malicious actions or selects the policy to apply. A console user must be induced to execute the program, and the injected script takes effect when changes are next deployed.
