Policy-enforcement disruption via application-identifier deletion
Published Jul 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper access control in Stormshield SES Evolution before 2.1.0 allows attackers to disrupt policy enforcement via a malicious program. The SES Evolution server fails its access check when a malicious program uses an installed administration console to delete an existing application identifier. Execution requires tricking a console user into running the program; deletion prevents further security policies from being applied to the environment.
