Information disclosure in pleaser before 0.4 allows local users to learn whether privileged files or directories exist through command-line path checks. The search_path function and the --check and -d options test attacker-supplied paths and expose distinct errors or execution outcomes that reveal existence and type. Access requires an unprivileged local account, and the demonstrated consequence is limited confidentiality loss about privileged filesystem locations.
