Remote configuration changes via CSRF
Published Apr 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Multilaser Router AC1200 V02.03.01.45_pt allows remote attackers to change settings via crafted web requests. The router's /goform/setSysTools POST endpoint accepts state-changing parameters such as remoteWeb without a CSRF token, allowing a malicious page to submit configuration requests in a victim's browser. Exploitation requires a victim administrator already authenticated to the router interface; successful requests can enable remote access, change passwords, and alter other settings.
