Permissions bypass in Apple macOS before 11.5, tvOS before 14.7, and watchOS before 7.6 allows attackers to evade Privacy preferences. The App Store component applies insufficient validation when enforcing application permissions, allowing a malicious app to operate contrary to selected Privacy controls. Exploitation requires local execution of a malicious application and user interaction; Apple has not disclosed which Privacy preferences or protected resources are affected.
