Buffer overflow in Apple's Audio component before macOS 12.1, iOS and iPadOS 15.2, and watchOS 8.3 allows attackers to disclose user information. Apple disclosed only that Audio mishandles memory while parsing a crafted audio file; the exact parser locus and erroneous copy operation remain undisclosed. Exploitation requires user interaction to cause the file to be parsed, and the published consequence is limited to information disclosure.
