Kernel use-after-free in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 15.1 and macOS before 12.0.1 allows local users to execute code with kernel privileges. The Kernel component reuses memory after it has been freed; Apple has not disclosed the affected function or the application input that triggers the stale access. Execution requires a local application and user interaction, and success runs attacker-controlled code with kernel privileges.
