Out-of-bounds read in Apple macOS AppleScript allows attackers to disclose process memory or crash an application via a crafted binary. The AppleScript component reads beyond a buffer boundary while processing untrusted binary data; Apple has not identified the parser routine or malformed field. Exploitation requires the binary to be processed on Big Sur before 11.6.1, Monterey before 12.0.1, or Catalina without Security Update 2021-007.
