ImageIO in affected Apple products allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by processing a maliciously crafted image. Apple states only that improved checks corrected the issue and has not published the precise parser locus or the invalid operation performed on image data. Successful exploitation requires user interaction to process the image and executes code with the privileges of the affected process.
