URI parsing in CUPS in Apple macOS before 11.6 allows local users to execute arbitrary files through crafted URI input. Apple identifies the locus as CUPS URI parsing but has not disclosed the malformed URI form, affected function, or incorrect parsing operation. Exploitation requires local user access and can launch an arbitrary file in that user's execution context; no privilege escalation is reported.
