Memory corruption in ImageIO in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 15, tvOS before 15, and watchOS before 8 allows attackers to execute code. ImageIO processes a maliciously crafted image without sufficient input validation, corrupting memory; Apple has not disclosed the defective parser routine or memory operation. Exploitation requires the target to process attacker-controlled image content and can execute code in the context of the processing application.
