Arbitrary code execution via WebKit use-after-free
Published Sep 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Use-after-free in WebKit in iOS before 14.7 and macOS Big Sur before 11.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted web content. Apple has not published the affected WebKit object or the operation that leaves it reachable after its memory is freed. Exploitation requires a user or application to process attacker-controlled web content, and the reported result is code execution in the affected WebKit process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
