Kernel-memory write or system crash via AVE race

A race condition in AVEVideoEncoder in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 14.6 allows local users to crash the system or write kernel memory. Two AppleAVE2Driver user clients race shared surface and command-buffer state, allowing list pointers to be redirected into attacker-controlled IOSurface memory. Execution requires a locally installed application and user interaction; the published proof of concept constructs kernel-memory access primitives.
