Unauthenticated webroot listing via directory traversal
Published Apr 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Path traversal in Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager 3.x before 3.30.1 allows remote attackers to list files and directories in the UI webroot. Sonatype has not disclosed the affected request handler or path-validation error; it states only that a crafted HTTP request traverses the static-resource webroot. The interface must be network-reachable, no authentication is required, and disclosure excludes customer data and file contents.
