Published Jun 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Insufficient policy enforcement in Google Chrome before 91.0.4472.77 allows remote attackers to bypass iframe navigation restrictions. The iFrameSandbox component fails to enforce navigation limits on a sandboxed frame when processing a crafted HTML page; Google has not published the responsible code path. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled web content, after which the page can navigate outside its iframe restrictions.
