Memory corruption via TabStrip out-of-bounds write

An out-of-bounds write in Google Cloud's Google Chrome TabStrip before 91.0.4472.77 allows attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted HTML page. TabStrip processes the page in a way that writes beyond allocated memory bounds; the vendor has not disclosed the responsible function. Exploitation requires the user to install a malicious extension and then load attacker-controlled HTML, limiting exposure to extension-enabled browsing sessions.
