SQL injection via unsigned raw_sql form field
Published Apr 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Jazzband Django Debug Toolbar before 1.11.1, 2.x before 2.2.1, and 3.x before 3.2.1 allows attackers to execute SQL. The SQL select, explain, and analyze forms authenticate sql and params but omit the client-controlled raw_sql field from the integrity hash, then execute that altered statement. The toolbar must be enabled and reachable; submitting a tampered form runs attacker-chosen statements with the application's database privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
