CVE-2021-3044Network attack vector

Unauthenticated REST actions via improper authorization

Published Jun 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Improper authorization in Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR 6.1.0 and 6.2.0 allows remote attackers to invoke REST API actions. Palo Alto Networks has not disclosed the specific REST handler or failed authorization check; requests act with an active integration's authority. Only servers with active API key integrations are exposed, where affected builds permit commands, automations, and administrative actions as that integration.
