CVE-2021-3039Network attack vector

Administrator access via logged role authorization secret

Published Jun 10, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Information exposure in Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud Compute before 21.04.412 allows remote authenticated users to gain Administrator access. The Console writes a secret used to authorize the authenticated user's role into a debug log file included in log exports. Operator or Auditor role access to those logs is sufficient to reuse the secret and elevate the active session, with no reported availability impact.
