Privilege escalation in Check Point Endpoint Security Client for Windows before E86.20 allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The Windows Installer repair flow executes temporary files from a writable %TEMP% directory controlled by the user initiating repair. Any authenticated local user can trigger MSI repair and substitute a crafted executable, gaining complete control of the Windows host.
