Secure-resource disclosure via improper SMMU configuration
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users to read secure resources through an RPM secure stream. The kernel's SMMU configuration permits that stream to address any secure resource instead of restricting it to intended mappings. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and exposes protected data without altering it or interrupting service.
