Local service interruption via concurrent QoS requests
Published Jan 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reachable assertion in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP Services allows local users to interrupt the service through concurrent QoS requests. The QoS request handler improperly validates simultaneous add or update requests, allowing an invalid state to reach an assertion. Local access capable of issuing overlapping QoS operations is required; successful triggering interrupts the affected DSP service.
