Memory disclosure and service interruption via undersized buffer

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP Service allows local users to disclose memory or interrupt service via a crafted file length. The DSP Service allocates an undersized buffer for a file length supplied from user space, allowing processing to read beyond the allocation. Exploitation requires local access to pass the crafted length to an affected chipset; no remote attack path is reported.
