Information exposure via retained integrity-invalid NAS messages
Published Nov 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information exposure in Qualcomm Snapdragon products allows remote attackers to read sensitive data through integrity-invalid NAS messages. The NAS handler fails to drop a message after its integrity check fails, allowing untrusted traffic to continue through processing. No privileges or user interaction are required; the description also names denial of service, but the published mechanism does not identify a resulting crash, hang, or other interruption.
