Memory corruption via WLAN interface initialization

Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN firmware allows local users with high privileges to corrupt memory through an Interface add command. The WLAN new-interface path improperly validates memory while processing Interface add, leaving freed storage available for later access. Exploitation requires local, high-privilege access and can expose or alter data or interrupt affected firmware; Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected function.
