Local memory corruption via extscan hostlist overflow

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users to corrupt memory through a crafted extscan hostlist command. The configuration handler inadequately validates hostlist input parameters, allowing an integer calculation to overflow and produce an undersized buffer. Local access to an affected device is required; successful triggering can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
