Authenticated command injection via shell metacharacters
Published Apr 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in China Mobile An Lianbao WF-1 router 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through the web API. The api/zrDm/set_zrDm handler passes dm_enable, AppKey, and Pwd values containing shell metacharacters into command execution without neutralization. Access requires network reachability and the privileges reflected by the published CVSS vector; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
