Stored script execution via evaluated profile name
Published May 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored client-side template injection in Knowage Suite 7.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The signup update endpoint stores the name parameter without neutralizing Angular template expressions, which the user information view later evaluates. A valid account and victim interaction are required; successful exploitation runs script in the victim's browser context and can read or alter accessible data.
