Database compromise via Authorization-header SQL injection
Published Apr 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in ZEROF Expert pro 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute SQL through the /v2/devices/add Authorization header. The endpoint incorporates the header's account value into a MySQL statement without neutralizing an apostrophe, causing the published request to return a syntax error near admin. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful injection permits database disclosure or modification and server-side code execution.
