Credential disclosure via unprotected setup page
Published Apr 28, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Information exposure in Merit LILIN P2/Z2/P3/Z3 camera firmware 7.1.94.8908 and earlier allows remote attackers to read credentials. The unauthenticated /new/setup.htm page embeds the device's user credentials as Base64-encoded values instead of restricting access to them. Network access to the camera's web interface is sufficient; the disclosed credentials enable follow-on access but do not directly alter data or interrupt service.
