Information disclosure in MediaWiki VisualEditor before 1.31.13 and 1.32.0 through 1.35.1 allows remote authenticated users to identify hidden users. ApiVisualEditor returns a distinguishable result for a user-page edit request when the named account exists but is hidden, rather than treating that account as nonexistent. An authenticated editor must target a user page; the observable difference reveals account existence but does not expose the hidden account's content.
