PHP code execution via unchecked archive filenames
Published Apr 6, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Composr 10.0.36 allows attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code through crafted upload filenames. Archive-import handlers in several Admin Zone modules accepted embedded filenames without check_extension, leaving PHP or double-extension files executable. NVD assesses that no privileges are required, although upstream materials do not identify the remotely reachable upload path; execution runs in the web-server context.
